CLASSIFICATION:
Endangered

The Gove Crow Butterfly was discovered in 1988. It is currently only known from ten locations on the Gove Peninsula in Arnhem Land, NT, and is endangered. Its habitat is forest and it relies on paperbark blossom feeding.

In August 2018, the federal government put into place a recovery plan for the Gove Crow Butterfly to help support its low population numbers from decreasing any further.
