A flower with antlers? You read it correctly - and it's name is the Antelope Orchid. Too true. The Antelope Orchid grows mostly white long-lasting, fragrant flowers bloom in summer, with peculiar green, spirally petals - yes, they're the antlers.


Antelope Orchids are found in the rainforest or even on branches of rainforest trees up in tropical North Queensland. This species is also known to grow in New Guinea.
