SPECIES: Verticordia albida — White Featherflower

Only as recently as the 1990’s, the White Featherflower was first formally discovered as a species. Endemic to WA, the White Featherflower is a flowering shrub that produces masses of white, feathery scented flowers with pink centres. Just look at the delicate feather-like petals of this beauty. Threats include invasive weeds, fire, grazing, clearing of vegetation and the restricted distrubtion of the species.
